Bio / About

Belen Gesualdo es una Artista Argentina nacida en Buenos Aires en 1975.

Siempre tuvo pasión por la pintura aunque sus primeros estudios fueron otros. Empezó estudiando Diseño Industrial en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, luego se recibió de Instrumentadora Quirúrgica trabajando muchos años de esto mientras estudiaba medicina; más tarde no pudo dejar aparte su pasión por la pintura y decidió estudiar Bellas Artes en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prillidiano Pueyrredon donde siguió especialización en escultura.
Siguió sus estudios de arte en diferentes talleres particulares de pintura y escultura, entre ellos: Cecilia Benitez/ Fernando Goin/ Eduardo Marquez/ Sandra Doherty/ Juan Herrera/ Martin Palottini/ Sara Mansilla/ Gustavo Ibarra/ Adolfo Bueno. Tambien realizó talleres de ilustración infantil, Cera perdida, Poliester, etc.
En 2002 se mudó a Estados Unidos, Washington DC para perfeccionar su inglés.
En 2009 ingreso en la Universidad de Palermo donde estudió Diseño de Interiores ganando en 1er año el concurso Vidrieras 2009.
En el transcurso de ese tiempo bailó diferentes danzas, entre ellas Afro africano/ Afro Contemporáneo /Zouk/ Jazz/ Funky/ Axe / Salsa y Arabe entre otras.
Prácticamente se dedicó y se dedica actualmente a pintar para colecciones privadas nacionales e internacionales, así como también ayuda a asociaciones benéficas como Make a Wish Argentina y refugios de animales.

Belen Gesualdo is an Argentine Artist born in Buenos Aires in 1975. She always had passion for painting although her first studies were others. She started studying Industrial Design at the University of Buenos Aires, then received Surgical Instrumentator working many years of this while studying medicine; later she could not leave aside her passion for painting and decided to study Fine Arts at the National School of Fine Arts Prillidiano Pueyrredon where she continued her specialization in sculpture. She continued her art studies in different private painting and sculpture workshops, including: Cecilia Benitez / Fernando Goin / Eduardo Marquez / Sandra Doherty / Juan Herrera / Martin Palottini / Sara Mansilla / Gustavo Ibarra / Adolfo Bueno. She also did workshops of Children's illustrations, lost wax, polyester, etc.
In 2002 she moved to the United States, Washington DC to perfect her English.
In 2009 she entered the University of Palermo where she studied Interior Design, winning in the first year the contest Vidrieras 2009. In the course of that time she danced different dances, among them African Afro / Afro Contemporary / Zouk / Jazz / Funky / Axe / Salsa and Arabe among others.
She practically dedicated herself and is currently dedicated to painting for national and international private collections, as well as helping charities such as Make a Wish Argentina and animals shelter.
